The Spring 2010 Big(gest) Show
Posted May 9, 2010
Hopefully you made it to this semester's big show, because it was a sight to behold.
NTS brought in some fresh tunes right from the opener, Ray Lamontagne's You Are The Best Thing. Other recent hits included the Matt Nathanson love song Come On Get Higher, and the upbeat college life song Rock & Roll by Eric Hutchinson. But true to the group's roots, some barbershop also made an appearance in the ditty Red Red Robin.
The show had a few interludes as four commercial breaks managed to infiltrate the setlist, including "Filet o' Fish," "Real Men of Genius," "Subway," and "eHarmony." Harrison also brought a once-in-a-lifetime experience to one audience member as he proposed to his girlfriend of four years, with a special intro by the whole group and its alumni. Look for special videos of these amazing moments sometime this summer!

Straight from the Big Show
Posted December 13, 2009
Thanks to the 300+ fans who packed the Strafford Room to see the free big show on Friday night! Attendance was as good as ever, with the room packed to capacity. Check out four favorites from the show on YouTube!
Ross captured the solo spotlight for the first time in the Buffett song "Cheeseburger in Paradise," off-stage group dynamics became apparent as pies flew and the fellas popped and locked in "Friends," a dedication went out to NTS grad Lt. Dave Snell for the great harmonies of "Gulf War Song," and Harrison and Seth dropped jaws with their rip-roaring solos in the medley "St. Louis Blues/Superstition."
NTS on YouTube
Posted November 22, 2009
Not Too Sharp videos on YouTube have been viewed over 113,000 times! Have you seen them? Some big favorites include the PG-13 rendition of Dion's "Runaround Sue" from the 2007 group, "Ban the Tube Top," which was recognized by Reel Big Fish as their favorite cover of their music for several months, the NTS classic "I'm in a Hurry," and the music video from last spring's Big Show, "Draggin' the Line," which features the only studio track available in full online.
Team Building
Posted November 14, 2009
Every October the group takes a camping trip to get to know each other better, but this year a busy performance schedule made that impossible. Instead, the group took advantage of a day off from classes to make an excursion to OSG Paintball in Barnstead, NH. The group defended a castle, had a Western shootout, and played some wild capture-the-flag, finishing the day with a paint-covered serenade to the staff. Thanks to UNH MUB assistant director Dave Zamansky for joining us!

Presenting Our New Members!
Posted September 15, 2009
Thank you to all who auditioned! Last week's auditions yielded quite a field of talent, leading to a lengthy and painful decision process. However, we were rewarded with two strong new voices: Alex Preece, a junior baritone, and Alex Rich, a freshman tenor. They join us tonight at rehearsal, and you can catch their debut at the two shows on Friday the 18th. Check them out!

Ross, Harrison, and Tyler recently had the opportunity to infiltrate the WUNH radio headquarters deep in the bowels of the MUB. They bantered about their roles in the group, where the music comes from, and their favorite campus eats, among other things. The DJs also spun tracks from Shifting Gears. Hear the whole interview here!

Man, has it been exciting to be a part of NTS lately! The big show was wildly successful, and we apologize to those we had to turn away when we
ran out of space. Check out the videos from the show on YouTube. While you're browsing the
video collection, take a look at the new music video and the

a studio track from the new album.
Which leads to the next point... the new CD! Titled "Shifting Gears," it is now available from the members of the group or online (email
info@not2sharp.com to order). Also, check out the full track listing on the

Presenting... The Hyannis Sound
Posted April 16, 2009

Cape Cod's boys of summer, the Hyannis Sound, trekked up to UNH on April 2nd as a part of their
annual spring tour. They delivered an awesome performance to bring joy to the heart all of the true acappella fans
who packed into Murkland Auditorium. The show ended with a joint performance of the song
Solsbury Hill. We enjoyed the Sound as much as
the enthusiastic audience, and look forward to seeing them again next spring!
NTS Entertains the NH Executive Council
Posted April 8, 2009

On April 1st we loaded up a bus and headed to Concord for a performance at the NH State House. After enjoying the beauty and history of the building,
we provided an energetic lift to the meeting and the morning. Starting with the close harmonies of the National Anthem, and following up with the
songs "Dancin' in the Moonlight" and the Doobie Brothers' "Black Water," we brought acappella to the capital. Thank you to Gov. Lynch and the
councilors for inviting us!

NTS in the News
Posted December 21, 2008
The group got some name-dropping in
The New Hampshire newspaper recently, due to their involvement with the Wildcat Santa charity.

In response to great support from fans and businesses around NH this year,
the Not Too Sharp guys decided to pass the buck- literally. The group donated 300 dollars worth of toys to the
Wildcat Santa Toy Drive at the Dec. 12th show - $150 from the group fund, and $150 contributed by the members personally.
"We have been blessed with great fans and great opportunities as a group and we are thrilled to take the generosity that has
been shown to us and share it with those in need during this holiday season," business manager Ross Seavey said.
Winter Show 2008
Posted December 14, 2008
Despite nearly being thwarted by ice storms and power outages, fans completely filled the Strafford Room for the Winter Show.
Tickets and donations raised almost $1000 for the ACS. The group members also decided to respond to the consistent generosity of our
audiences, and donated a load of toys to UNH's Wildcat Santa drive.
Thank you to everyone who came to the show! For anyone who didn't make it, check out six of the songs from the show on
YouTube, including Belleau Wood, Ban the Tube Top, Solsbury Hill and Silver
Bells. Happy holidays, and we'll see you after winter break!
